Massage Therapy is defined as “the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain. Massage Therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body, general health and overall well-being. Massage Therapy may be used to maintain and improve physical health and can also ease the effects of physical pain.

Pediatric Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is great for children of all ages from newborns to age 12! Infant/Child massage promotes relaxation, helps decrease muscle tension & encourages positive touch.

Sarah McQueen

Sarah McQueen is a Registered Massage Therapist with extensive training in various modalities. She combines traditional Swedish massage with advanced techniques to provide effective treatment for her patients.

Sarah graduated from Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto in 2010. Upon graduation, Sarah participated in the ‘Friends for Life Bike Rally’ on the Wellness team, treating both the cyclists and crew members during the 600km trek from Toronto to Montreal. She has continued her education by completing postgraduate studies in pregnancy massage, infant massage, pelvic floor dysfunction, Labour Support & craniosacral techniques.

Sarah practices with a trauma-sensitive lens, and obtained the “Trauma Certificate” through the Faculty of Social Work at Wilfred Laurier University in 2023.

Sarah believes that Massage Therapy can be a benefit to people of all ages, and is part of maintaining a sense of Well-being. She maintains the belief that through self care and education, clients are able to take control of their healing.
